Clear Future Co-Founders
Daniel Jerrett, PhD
Daniel has over 15 years of experience developing and implementing forecasting models. He has expertise in mineral and energy economics, macroeconomic forecasting, and international finance. His experience spans both the private and public sectors. Daniel has spent time in the investment management industry, state and local governments as well as consulting with Fortune 500 companies. He continues to be active in academia and teaches courses in econometrics and forecasting at the University of Colorado Denver, University of Colorado School of Public Health and regularly lectures at the University of Colorado Denver's JP Morgan Commodities Center.
Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from DePaul University, an M.S. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and a B.B.A in Business Economics from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie School of Business.
Abdel Zellou, PhD
Abdel M. Zellou, Ph.D., is an energy economics and geoscience expert. He has more than 20 years of oil & gas industry experience, primarily in the upstream and midstream market segments, working with companies such as Schlumberger, Total, Burlington, TD Williamson and co-founding Prism Seismic, a software and consulting company. His skill set combines deep technical expertise with a thorough knowledge of petroleum economics. Abdel’s understanding of the origin and characteristics of hydrocarbon molecules provides a new perspective on how upstream and midstream operators monetize their products. addition, he has contributed to the energy industry through peer reviewed journal publications, over 30 presentations and proceeding papers at conferences and a patent on fractured reservoir characterization. Scientific and technical papers he has authored have over 400 citations, according to google scholar, and an h-index of 10. Abdel also teaches energy economics at the Collins College of Business, The University of Tulsa.
Abdel holds a Ph.D. in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He also holds a M.Sc. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, a M.Sc. in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers.
